Extend the reach of the Baltimore experience beyond the Inner Harbor, and show people outside the region (and even the state) how much more there is to Charm City.

The Insight

Bring the Baltimore experience to them. If folks were going to see what makes Baltimore special in one experience, we needed to maximize our real estate and pack in as much of the city’s personality as we could. 

The Solution
We designed and fabricated a traveling hub and micro Visitor Center experience as an extension of the Baltimore community and a microcosm of what visitors will enjoy when they come to the city. The mobile Visitor Center has the flexibility to showcase a variety of activations that let audiences at regional and out of state events enjoy an authentic Baltimore experience no matter where they are. It’s a great way to pack everything that the city has to offer and engage with audiences to help elevate brand perception. We even took it on the road to the Preakness Stakes, where racegoers could enjoy a break from the action.

What Changed
The perception of Baltimore’s tourism offering was dramatically enhanced, and other than Seize the Grey, it was the talk of the Preakness. After the incredible response, we’re looking forward to more events and showing folks around the country just how much is waiting for them when they come to Baltimore.
